biorevitalisation
Duration: - Min
With the term biorevitalization we mean an injective medical technique aimed at improving the quality of the skin. Biorevitalization is that medical treatment which aims at reintegrating those substances into the skin that our organism is not able to produce in sufficient quantities, such as hyaluronic acid and some amino acids. The decrease of hyaluronic acid in the dermis is one of the most important causes of cutaneous ageing as this substance is largely responsible for its hydration, for the reproductive capacity of the fibroblasts and for the synthesis of collagen. To reintroduce these substances is to “nourish” the skin. However, their reintroduction must only take place via injections; because if they are taken orally they are digested and are no longer active in the required place. The product that we use most commonly is made of hyaluronic acid, These are similar gels to those used as fillers but with greater chemical-physical characteristics of fluidity, which make them less able to fill but they are extremely able to attract water and therefore to hydrate, to stimulate the formation of new collagen, and to contrast the formation of free radicals. Essentially, therefore, they are able to revitalize the skin. The most commonly treated areas are the face, neck, décolleté, the back of the hands, but the whole surface of the skin can be treated. In general, at least 3–4 sessions are needed according to a protocol that varies according to the characteristics of the skin (phototype, age, lifestyle, oxidative stress etc.) and to the products used.
